ABOUT US
WHO WE ARE
The owner and producer of EcoLoops and its products, Kathryn, first began to crochet when she was around 10 years old. Kathryn has continued to crochet throughout the years, especially in times of stress to keep her hands busy. She now has about 20 years of experience crocheting.
With COVID-19 keeping her isolated, Kathryn found that she should share her love for crochet with people on Etsy. She has a passion for eco-conscious products and practices which is why most of her products focus on reducing waste or using great materials. Additionally, EcoLoops always strives to use recyclable shipping and packing materials.
Kathryn also has a passion for feminism, supporting the LGBTQ+ community, the Black Lives Matter Movement, among other great social justice issues that she tries to support in her shop when she can by donating a percentage of the proceeds from specific sales.
Have a custom order in mind? - EcoLoops is glad to work with you to make your idea/gift come to life! Some projects from the past include: afghans, amigurumi/plushies, clothing and accessories, books/tablet covers, hacky sacks, and more!
Kathryn has also recently expanded to printed t-shirts and embroidery designs that she has designed and produced herself as well.
ECO-CONSCIOUS
EcoLoops creates products with environmentally friendly practices and supplies. Many of the yarns I use are made from 100% cotton or bamboo with sustainability in mind.
EcoLoop's packaging and shipping supplies are all recyclable and/or biodegradable. No unnecessary plastics here!
